About the Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp Coco Reàl (cream of coconut)

  • 2 cups soy sauce

  • 1 cup fish sauce

  • 1 cup fresh lime juice

  • 2 cups coconut milk

  • 1 cup rice wine vinegar

  • 1/2 cup sesame oil

  • 1 oz habanero pepper, chopped

  • 1 tbsp minced fresh ginger

  • 1 tsp cornstarch

  • 1 tsp water

  • Fresh mint, cilantro, and chopped peanuts for garnish

Preparation

  1. Combine all ingredients except the cornstarch and water in a saucepot and bring to a simmer.

  2. Mix cornstarch and water together, then stir into the sauce and bring to a boil.

  3. Serve chilled or hot alongside the cooked snapper.

  4. Garnish with fresh mint, cilantro, and peanuts.
