About the Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef or venison

  • 1 medium onion, diced

  • 3 cloves garlic, minced

  • 8 oz mushrooms, sliced

  • 1 cup beef broth

  • 1 cup sour cream

  • 1 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce

  • Salt and pepper to taste

  • Egg noodles or pasta, cooked

Preparation

  1. Brown the ground meat in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Drain excess fat.

  2. Add onion and garlic, cook 3 minutes until softened.

  3. Add mushrooms and cook 4 minutes until they release their moisture.

  4. Stir in beef broth and Worcestershire sauce. Simmer 5 minutes.

  5. Remove from heat and stir in sour cream.

  6. Season with salt and pepper. Serve over cooked noodles.
