About the Recipe

Ingredients

  • Sushi rice

  • Rice vinegar, sugar, salt (for seasoning rice)

  • Nori sheets

  • Fresh sushi-grade fish (salmon, tuna, or your choice)

  • Cucumber, avocado, or other fillings

  • Soy sauce, wasabi, pickled ginger (for serving)

Preparation

  1. Cook and season sushi rice per package directions.

  2. Lay nori on a bamboo mat and spread rice evenly.

  3. Add fillings in a line across the center.

  4. Roll tightly using the mat and seal the edge with water.

  5. Slice into pieces with a sharp wet knife.
