Ingredients
1 lb alligator meat, cubed
Chicken fry mix
Baking mix
Peanut oil (for frying)
Dill pickle spears (for serving)
Chick-fil-a sauce, hot sauce, or sweet chili sauce (for dipping)
Preparation
Mix chicken fry mix and baking mix together in a bowl.
Cut alligator meat into bite-sized cubes.
Toss meat in the fry mixture until coated.
Heat peanut oil to 350°F in a deep fryer or heavy pot.
Fry gator bites in batches, 3–4 minutes until golden brown.
Drain on paper towels. Serve with your choice of dipping sauce and pickles.
