About the Recipe

Ingredients

  • Cooked Dungeness or blue crab

  • Butter, melted (for dipping)

  • Lemon wedges

Preparation

  1. Twist off the claws and legs.

  2. Lift the shell from the body and remove the gills.

  3. Break the body in half and crack claws with a mallet or crab cracker.

  4. Pick out the meat. Serve with melted butter and lemon.
