Ingredients
1 lb Chicken of the Woods mushroom, cleaned and cut into strips
2 Tbsp butter or olive oil
3 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 tsp thyme
Salt and pepper to taste
Fresh parsley for garnish
Preparation
Clean mushrooms and cut into bite-sized strips or pieces.
Heat butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
Add mushroom pieces in a single layer — do not crowd the pan.
Cook 4–5 minutes without stirring until golden on the bottom.
Flip, add garlic and thyme, cook 3 more minutes.
Season with salt and pepper. Garnish with parsley and serve.
