About the Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 lb Chicken of the Woods mushroom, cleaned and cut into strips

  • 2 Tbsp butter or olive oil

  • 3 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1/2 tsp thyme

  • Salt and pepper to taste

  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Preparation

  1. Clean mushrooms and cut into bite-sized strips or pieces.

  2. Heat butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat.

  3. Add mushroom pieces in a single layer — do not crowd the pan.

  4. Cook 4–5 minutes without stirring until golden on the bottom.

  5. Flip, add garlic and thyme, cook 3 more minutes.

  6. Season with salt and pepper. Garnish with parsley and serve.
